This week John and I had off together. We were supposed to go to Jackson
Hole with my family, but after our Bear Lake adventure we decided to
opt out. Bear Lake was a challenge. Sleepless nights, kids awake all day
with minimal naps, tantrums here and there, the crying kids in the car,
and the list goes on. So with a lot of thought,.... well not really, we
decided to stay home. Yeah STAYCATION. We had so much fun. Each day
was filled with something different. Swimming, the Aquarium, the Zoo,
and more swimming. But the best part is we got to sleep in our beds and
wake up to happy rested kids.

They were so excited on the ride to the pool. They even held hands. |
|
Waiting for the pool to open. |
Thursday. (we forgot the camera on Wednesday at the aquarium.)
|
Bridger sunblocked, in back pack with his hat, ready to go. |
|
Notice John has ear plugs in. That
is because Screamer aka Bridger gets very excited when he sees animals.
It is very loud to say the least. |
|
Canyon sizing himself up to the gorilla. I think Canyon could take him!! |
|
Bridger's point. He does this all day long. Point and squeal, that's his stamp of approval.
|
The bear was very interactive. He would come up to the window, put his nose to it and then dive down into the water. He repeated that sequence for quite some time. It was amazing.
|
getting ready to kiss the polar bear. |
|
Another point and squeal. |
|
He couldn't get enough of the animals. He would try to climb out of the pack to get closer. |
Friday. At the pool again.
|
Bridger has many names Screamer, Climber, Sticky Fingers. He is one of many talents. |

Our week is over but the memories are with us. Canyon and Bridger are the best two boys I could ever ask for. This week I realized how blessed I am. I have the best family ever. Canyon and Bridger are so loving, energetic, sweet, funny, opinionated, stubborn, inquisitive and just flat out amazing.
