Weekend fun

Canyon loves to get into my makeup. He managed to open my mascara and begin to beautify himself. He did a good job huh?

Canyon's new big boy potty. He loves to sit on it but he doesn't want to go potty on it. But this weekend before the potty was purchased he did go poopies on the toilet. Good job Canyon!!

I was so happy to get half of my shift off at work so I could go to my moms for Easter. We had a traditional dinner with ham and potatoes, we had an Easter egg hunt and we sykped with my two sisters who live in Hawaii.

Today I had the opportunity to get another ultrasound. At my 20 week ultrasound the baby was measuring small and they couldn't get a good picture of his heart. Also my placenta was showing that it was low near my cervix which would mean a c-section if it didn't move up. All the news is great. Baby Bridger is growing well. His heart has four chambers with no septal defects, no hypoplastic heart, and no transposition of the great vessels. In normal terms the heart is perfect. His brain is a good size, no ventricular problems or hydrocephalus. He has no gastroschesis or oomphalocele which means his belly is all inside and looks normal. As a nurse at Primary's I see all of these things and pray that I will never have to endure the trials that the families I care for do. So far we are on good track.

This one is hard to see but he is sucking on his hand. Again so cute. At one point during the ultrasound he yawned and he has a big mouth, hopefully not a big cry to go with it.
